Coach Strada Racing Club Notre Dame Strada Pinnacle Strada
Lisa started cycling in 1981 in Washington State and won the 1982 State Time Trial Championship and the State Championship Points Race on the Marymoor Velodrome. In addition to many road race and criterium victories in Washington, she also won one of the largest races on the West Coast, The Devil’s Cup criterium, beating the entire Schwinn and Raleigh women’s pro teams.
In a new chapter of her life Lisa spent her free time coaching and playing tennis, training dogs and volunteering for Leader Dogs for the Blind where she adopted the other two ‘boys’ in her life, Cino and Gabe, her German Shepherds.
After moving to Scottsdale with her husband Mike, she started riding again which lead to competing in local races and becoming active in the development of the sport through the Strada Racing Club. Although Lisa has prioritized her efforts toward coaching Strada riders, she maintains her commitment to a lifestyle of fitness and has added 16 Arizona State Cycling Championships and numerous other race wins including the Pro/Cat 1/2/3 Women’s Scottsdale GP to her ‘record book.’
Since Lisa started coaching the Strada Racing Club, Strada racers have won 11 National Championship medals and 182 State Championship titles.
