BIO My name is Michael Hemmerlin, I was born in the year 2000 and began racing at the age of three. I did races that were about 50 feet long and won most of them. GOALS:"I want to beat Lance Armstrongs record by one Tour de France"
In 2005, I raced in Durango, Colorado when I was five years old and competed in both a 5 year old and a 10 year old event. In the 10 year old race I went up a short steephill that challenged me. I was in last place until I passed a girl at the half way point. I took a sharp left corner and went very fast downhill into another sharp left turn and got second to last. I also competed in another event in my age group and tied for first with another girl and we went 3 times the length of the race, then an official turned us around.
I did some local kids races in 2006. In 2007, I did the El Tour De Phoenix 26 on a mountain bike with my Mom and finished to a cheering crowd. We bought a 24” LG Jittery Joes mini and I did the El Tour De Tucson 35 with my dad. In 2008, El Tour De Phoenix 25 and I was the first to finish under 20 years old. In July 2008 I did 3 events at the Arizona State Track Championships and got 3 GOLD medals. n my spare time, when I’m not training,I like to play video games and ride my razor. I also like to play basketball, swim, play soccer and run. My favorite food is ribs and mash potatoes. I am very excited about the events I will do with Strada Racing Team.
