Once again, Dominic Suozzi (Jr. Men 13-14) added to his winning streak. His victory today adds another State Championship title, continues his run of only first place finishes since the start of the season and he did it with a cold! 
Aaron Apel had a very tough race since he was not able to get his foot clipped in fast enough and the fact that all junior men from 10-18 started together (!) meant the speed of the pack did not allow him to catch up. As usual, Aaron was unwilling to admit defeat and chased alone until he caught others in his age group and Michael Hemmerlin (Jr Men 10-12).  
Michael dropped off this group in the final, loooong climb but fought on to get a great second place finish in his age group. Aaron got 6th in the Jr men 13-14, handily making up his loss from the start, Kyle finished 8th! All our racers were fortunate to be among the few who were able to beat the hills and the heat.

Thanks to all the parents and friends that have stood by the racers in sleet and heat, Crits, Track RR & TT's!

He got everyone home and then took to writing a race report and sent pictures.
