Tempe Tri-Athlon Congrats to MJ and Greg Albert who participated in their first full distance triathlon. Official results are not yet published but both thought they had great swim and cycling portions and only felt that their runs were not as strong as they would have liked. This is their first event at this distance and will need to adapt to the increased workload. Greg reported passing many, many riders on the bike leg and MJ felt her club rides have helped her greatly improve her times! Congrats to both. Yes, they will be joining our large group at the track sessions. Patti Kuluris has advised us that the Flying Kuluris family again posted great results. Mason combined her speed on the bike with a blistering run to win the Women's 16 and under category. Congrats to Mason who beat many competitors who were several years older than her! Brother Stephen competed in the intensely competitive Men's 17-19 age group and scored a super second place finish. What a family! We heard word that Eric was spotted at the race but we have no results.
