Gold for Michael Hemmerlin (under 10)....2.6 seconds faster than last year!
Gold for Drew Albert Jr 17-18 with a new record of 12.7 seconds..tied for fastest Strada time of the day.
Gold for Eric Yatko Jr 15-16 with a new record and only .1 sec behind Drew Albert
Silver for Nick Thorpe Jr 15-16 in his first year and only .1 sec behind Eric.....yes...all three Juniors separated by only .1 sec each!
Gold for Johnny Angelone Jr 13-14 and sets new record of 14.0 seconds
Silver for Scott Ford who equaled last year's record!
Bronze for Dominic Leonetti who is in his first year of the 13-14 age group and equalled the record of last year...all three started this year.
Gold for Madi Cocuzza Jr women 13-14 also setting a new record and equalling the standing record for 15-16 yr women
Gold for Cat 5 Men-Rick Giordano, second for Drew (his second 200 of the day) and third for Jeff....a Strada 1-2-3!
Gold for 40-44 women...Christine Phillips
Gold for Lionel Space 55-59 men equalling the record
Silver for Greg Yatko only .1 from a gold...a three way tie for second!
Bronze for Greg Hemmerlin only .1 sec off the silver
Gold for masters 40-44 for Rick Giordano...yes, two 200's for him too
And, wrapping it up: Bronze for Scott Cocuzza and a Silver for Chris Colson.
Congrats to Mark Morgan who improved .8 sec over last year. Our sympathy to Chris Spencer who got severe food poisoning the night before the races and, of course, our sympathy to his 'bunkmates' for the evening: Sean and Jeff Biever and Michael LaNue.

Gold for Michael Hemmerlin who beat his time of last year by 4.7 seconds. AND, after Lionel (a well respected expert) saw Michael's start, he walked over to him and told Michael he had the best form he had seen of anyone that day!
A gold and another record for Eric Yatko followed for a silver by Nick Thorpe only .2 seconds. It was an epic  battle of the juniors for both days! They were followed by Sean Biever and Michael LaNue who both beat the record from last year
KILO
Jeff Biever started the gold medals for Strada in this event, followed by golds for Chris Colson...congratulations to Chris..only his second race and a State Champion!... and Drew Albert winning the junior kilo.
A Silver medal for Rick Giordano who missed the gold by .2 from the new record time
2000
Gold for Christine in masters 40-44 and another record.....2:47.2 **********fastest time recorded by an AZ woman of any age, ever at this track**********
A gold and another time for the record books for Lionel Space...2:40.1
A bronze for Mike Yanish who beat his times of last year in every event!
Gold for Madi and....yes, another record
Another Gold for Michael Hemmerlin who beat his time of last year by 22 full seconds! How hard does he try? Take a look at his pictures on the club website and, more proof?  He took a chunk out of this lip when he smashed his mouth into the stem at the end....Mr Aero!
Another Gold and another record for Eric Yatko....another great performance by Nick who fought hard and finished only 1.7 seconds and, yes, he beat Eric's record of last year! Sean Biever improved 25 seconds over last year.
Another gold for Johnny Angelone and great second place for Scott Ford and a Bronze for Dominic Leonetti. How fast was it? In spite of the fact Dominic just started racing, he beat the previous record!

The second year in a row that Jeff Biever won the pursuit gold and improved over his previous times

Other events-
Team pursuit- Silver for Strada senior men and gold for Strada juniors (Drew, Eric, Nick, Sean)
Team Sprint-Silver for Strada senior men plus 4th and 5th. Yes, Strada fielded three men's teams and got 2nd,4th, 5th.
Gold medal for Strada Juniors (Drew, Eric and Mike Lanue)
Junior Scratch Race (15 yrs old and higher): Gold Drew Albert, Silver Eric and Bronze Nick...special note of Nicks attack which caught the others napping..he almost pulled off the win.
Junior Scratch Race (14 yrs old and younger): Johnny , Scott and Dom got the medals.
Madi won the gold for the junior women and actually finished third overall!
Michael Hemmerlin won the gold for the under 10 age group.
Men's Points race: Lionel Space fought against team tactics and scored a great second place finish.
